‘Airport Tower Complete’
This has been our biggest project to date. With a 3 week lead in we were contracted by Belfast City Airport to install a lift in compliance with the Disability Discrimination Act. This started as a £110,000 contract to be completed over a period of 8 weeks. An additional £60,000 contract was then added to this and we completed the project in 10 weeks.
This new project was to complete a series of works in the Control Tower. The work was to the radar room, equipment room and the VCR room. All of these areas are highly sensitive and crucial to the running of the airport. The most important element of this project was to complete the work with as little disruption as possible to these areas which were to remain fully operational during this time. As a team we managed to dismantle and erect new stud walls, complete mechanical and engineering works, replace the carpet and ceilings and decorate. All areas were affected.
Through this project we have once again demonstrated our ability to utilise our expertise by going in and getting the job completed on time, to a budget and to the clients satisfaction.
